In 2007, Mitul Patel moved to Canada to live his dream life. However, the only options for him to travel in Regina, Saskatchewan, were costly taxis and buses with limited routes and availability. Also, severe weather conditions didn't help him as it was difficult to commute at -40°C. Determined to find a better solution, he purchased a vehicle for his daily commute. However, he faced the same difficulties every car owner in the region was experiencing: traffic jams, wasted time, rising vehicle expenses, and the environmental impact. Determined to make a change, Mitul Patel thought of a solution to the problems he saw on the streets of Regina. In 2016, he started a carpooling initiative under a different company name.

Mitul Patel's initial journey involved a different venture focused on bridging the gap between drivers heading out of the city and those within. Despite his efforts, beginner's luck didn't favour him. Yet, his determination to find the perfect solution to the transportation challenges in Regina never wavered.

Through thorough research and hard work, Mitul Patel's efforts led to a turning point in July 2023. He met like-minded partners Rutvik Babaria and Dhwani Purohit. Together, they worked to revive the carpooling initiative, recognizing that many students today face various transportation-related issues.

With their passion and commitment to ensure that no one experiences the problems they faced, Rutvik and Mitul rebranded and reimagined the carpooling initiative, giving birth to Carpooll.com.

Then Mitul, Rutvik, and Dhwani knew that finding the right team to build the platform was crucial. A team of skilled professionals came up under one umbrella to build a simple-to-use platform that focused on delivering a seamless user experience. From easy ride matching to secure payment systems, we worked on the nitty-gritty aspects.

Then Carpooll.com got the approval to do business in Canada which validates the impact of Carpool on addressing problems for commuters within and outside the city. With our commitment to the mission, Carpooll.com started connecting drivers and riders. The platform provides a way to commute cost-effectively, save major travel expenses, lower the carbon footprint, and feel like a community.
